Can’t make it to the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 in Stockholm this year to watch Australia’s own Dami Im take home Europe’s crowning glory? Come and cheer (and sing) your hearts out at two fabulously camp parties that are raising money to end HIV in NSW.

ACON, NSW’s leading HIV prevention, HIV support and LGBTI health organisation has joined up with two massive Eurovision parties in Sydney as their charity partner and $5 from every ticket sold will go to ACON ‘s HIV prevention and support programs.

Eurovision fans and tragics can go to either the Oxford Art Factory for Gay4Play, OX Live and Gaydar’s night of campness, or be entertained by the mesmerising Hannah Conda as she hosts the broadcast of the Grand Final at the Ritz Cinema in Randwick.

Gay4Play promises an extensive evening full of activities to sate any Eurovision fan’s desires.

“Long before Idol, X Factor and Australia’s Got Talent, Eurovision put iconic acts such as ABBA and Celine Dion on the world map,” Gay4Play organisers said.

“We will begin with a mash‐up of the finalist songs from 5pm, before the screening of the grand final from 7:30pm.

“Throughout the evening there will be Eurovision trivia and a best‐dressed competition.”

Over at The Ritz Cinema in Randwick, Sydney drag star Hannah Conda will emcee their Eurovision festivities where fans can watch the Grand Final on a giant cinema screen.

Fans are encouraged to dress up as their favourite past contestants or just in the theme of Eurovision campness, with prizes for best costumes at both parties.

Tickets for both parties are available on the door (or pre-sale for Gay4Play’s party as well) for $20, with $5 going to ACON.
