Bingay moves back home!

Bingay returns 'home' to the Imperial Hotel on Tuesday 7 September.

The last Bingay there was on 4 Sept 2007. Bingay spent 3 odd months at ARQ, before moving to the Sly Fox Hotel where we've been working in the stairwell ever since.

Spookily, September 7 is exactly 11 years and one day since Mitzi started it on September 6 1999.

We've got a new set and some other secrets that will make each Tuesday night Bingay fresh and fun.

Our last Sly Fox night is this Tuesday, 31 August.

Make sure you pencil in Big Fangbangers Big Bingay - Tora's first big night. We've gone crazy on what I know will be our best decor ever!

It's on Friday 29 October at Paddo RSL and costs $37 per head.

What is Bingay? 

Bingay is an weekly ACON fundraising event hosted by the multi DIVA award-winning drag queen, Tora Hymen. Tora's barrel girl is the all-singing out there dyke Naomi Palmer who recently received her first DIVA award. Bingay has been running every Tuesday night from 1999. During that time, it has raised over $750,000!

Most Tuesday nights are a great mix of poofs, dykes and straight people. Many even bring their mums and aunties. But be warned, the night is a racey one!

Bingay is Tora's take on bingo, but it has a very big twist! Expect weird rules, singalongs, penalties and hilarious stories with prizes that range from the silly and camp to great theatre tickets or restaurant vouchers. It is a night for friends to get together and have fun on a 'school night', that also ends by around 11pm so you can have a great night out without feeling like you can not face work the next day! Free snacks and food are served each week.

Naomi will even sing happy birthday for your friend. Holding a birthday party at Bingay is a great way to have fun and also help raise money for ACON.

Time: 7:30pm for an 8.30pm start. Bookings must be seated by 8.20pm.

Cost:  $20 or $30 for all games. $30 is playing all the numbers, $20 is playing 2/3's of the numbers. All proceeds to ACON.
