24/11/10 - NSW's leading HIV prevention agency says that the results of the iPrEx study, published today in the New England Journal of Medicine, show that a lot more research will be required to establish whether or not taking HIV drugs as pre-exposure prophylaxis for HIV prevention will have widespread applicability and benefit.

ACON does not support the implementation of male circumcision as a HIV prevention strategy in Australia and supports NSW Health's current policy of not performing medically unnecessary circumcision in public hospitals.

02/09/10 - ACON's famous ball-dropping fundraiser Bingay is heading back home to the famous and newly renovated Imperial Hotel in Erskineville. Bingay began at the Imperial in 1999 but moved to Enmore's Sly Fox Hotel for three years while the Imperial was closed for refurbishment.
