The campaign features three well known community members who, along with many of Sydney’s bars, clubs and sex on premises venues have lent their support to the campaign.

This campaign highlights the negative health impact of untreated syphilis and encourages men who have lots of sex partners to have a syphilis test. All sexually active gay men should have regular STI tests. The more sex you have, the more frequently you need to test.

By getting tested for syphilis during October and telling your partners the results you can start to clear syphilis from your scene. If you get tested along with your sexual partners during October you will make a greater impact than if you get tested alone as this will help to break the cycle of infection among your sexual networks.
