We want your input

ACON is seeking community feedback on the services that we currently provide. We would also like your input to ensure that our programs and services are aligned with the real life experiences and needs of our community. We are currently looking for volunteers from our community who currently use drugs, or who have a personal or family history of alcohol and/or other drug use. Please contact us if you would like to contribute to the development of programs and services that affect you and your community.

ACON Rover Project

Are you interested in becoming an ACON Rover? Come and join a team of wonderful volunteers that are loved by the GLBT community. ACON recruits ACON Rovers regularly. Once you've been accepted into the program, you'll need to attend two evening training sessions as well as regular refresher training and supervision. To be an ACON Rover all you need is enthusiasm and great communication skills.

Needle Syringe Program (NSP) volunteer Health Educators

As an NSP Health Educator, you can work with people who access the Sydney NSP, ensure that our NSP contains up to date information, and work with our partner organisations. You'll receive training and supervision from ACON. Places on the NSP are prioritised for people with experience of injecting drug use.
