Long standing community group Asian Marching Boys and Friends will be making a comeback in 2010 with fabulous new shows and a spectacular Mardi Gras parade entry.

“Last year lots of people asked where we had gone,” says Kha Phan, new chairperson of the group “but after lots of hard work, we're ready to make a come-back.”

Asian Marching Boys and Friends is holding two membership registration days for people to sign up, meet the members of the new organising committee, and get a sneak peak of what the group has planned for the 2010 Mardi Gras Parade.

What, when, where?

What: Asian Marching Boys + Friends membership registration days

When: Saturday 16 January and Saturday 23 January, 4-6pm

Where: ACON, 9 Commonwealth St, Surry Hills NSW 2010

Cost: Membership fees ($10) will contribute towards the cost of hiring the sound and lighting equipment and truck for the parade float.
