B.L.I.S.S

Who's it for?: Lesbian, bisexual and same-sex attracted women

B.L.I.S.S. offers a variety of social activities each term including games, movies and dinner nights. Each term a different guest speaker is invited to talk about various issues. Past issues have been safe sex, healthy ageing, PFlAG and legal rights.

All B.L.I.S.S meetings are held in a safe and confidential environment at the Blacktown Women's and Girls' Health Centre every 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the months from 6 to 8pm

Western Sydney Coming Out Group

Who's it for?: GLBT or questioning people.

The Western Sydney Coming-out Group is a free monthly group for same sex attracted men and women. The group is facilitated by volunteers trained by the Gay and Lesbian Counseling Service and is open to anyone who needs a place to talk about sexuality and coming out issues. We meet the first Thursday night of the month and the venue is in the Penrith Area within walking distance to a train station.

Rainbow Women is a support and social group that meets fortnightly at WILMA Women's Health Centre. WILMA also provides free counselling to lesbians.

The Open Door Community of Christ offers support and acceptance for all who identify as Glbt. Relaxed, friendly and informal, the Open Door welcomes everyone regardless of faith background. As well as Sunday night gatherings we hold regular social activities and often run local community events. Join us this Sunday night at 6 pm 74 Laycock Street Cranebrook.

Bush Lemons is a group of lesbians who enjoy bushwalking and other outdoor activities. It is a condition of participating in any Bush Lemons bush walks that you read the BushWalking Code.
