Heaven is one of Western Sydney's longest running GLBT Social Dances.
Where: It is held at the Northmead Bowling Club, 166 Windsor Rd, Northmead.
When: Heaven is on the last Saturday of every second month; Heaven is a non for profit organization.

When: The Alex Hotel has a social gathering on Friday nights from 7pm. All are welcome to join for dinner, a few drinks and good company. It's nothing formal, just a social night to meet up with other people from the Blue Mountains area.

Come Out Groups

Who's it for?: GLBT or questioning people.
There are two groups in the greater western Sydney region for anyone that would like advice or support when coming out. The groups meet monthly in a social setting.

Western Sydney Coming Out Group

Who's it for?: GLBT or questioning people.
The Western Sydney Coming-out Group is a free monthly group for same sex attracted men and women. The group is facilitated by volunteers trained by the Gay and Lesbian Counseling Service and is open to anyone who needs a place to talk about sexuality and coming out issues. We meet the first Thursday night of the month and the venue is in the Penrith Area within walking distance to a train station.

The Open Door Group

Who's it for?: GLBT or questioning people.
The Open Door Community of Christ offers support and acceptance for all who identify as Glbt. Relaxed, friendly and informal, the Open Door welcomes everyone regardless of faith background. As well as Sunday night gatherings we hold regular social activities and often run local community events. Join us this Sunday night at 6 pm 74 Laycock Street Cranebrook.

The Western Sydney Transgender Support Group

Who's it for?: Transgender or people questioning their gender.
The Western Sydney Transgender Support Group is a free, safe and supportive space to talk about gender issues. The group is a peer support group with trained facilitators.
The first meeting is on 29 July, following this the Western Sydney Transgender Support Group will meet the second Friday night of each month in Penrith.

The Three Sisters Social Group

Who's it for?: GLBT or questioning people.
Based in the Blue Mountains, its membership is open to gay, lesbian, bi-sexual, transgender, intersex and queer people.The group arranges social events in the region. Activities include a monthly dinner, summer barbecues, flower shows, annual disco during the Queen's Birthday weekend festival and an Australia day Barbecue.

Who's it for?: Gay and lesbian parents and their children
Blue Mountains Rainbow Parents Get together with other lesbian and gay parents and their children in the Blue Mountains. Come along to our monthly picnics/events for fun and frolics, support and information.
