A bequest is simply a special gift made in your will of part or all of your estate. How much you decide to leave as a bequest depends on your own personal circumstances. It's your personal decision, whatever you can afford will help.

If you wish to make a bequest to ACON there are several ways you can do so:

• A percentage pledge
• A fixed cash amount
• Items of value
• A life insurance policy
• A life interest clause

If you're preparing your will and you'd like to leave a bequest to ACON, we recommend the following wording:

"I give, free of any relevant duties, (the whole of my estate) (the remainder of my estate) ( __% of my estate ) (or the sum of $_____ ) to ACON Health Limited, PO Box 350 Darlinghurst NSW 1300, for its general purposes. The receipt of the Treasurer, Secretary or Public Officer for the time being of the Council is an absolute discharge to my Trustee or Executor."

It's important that when making your will you refer to us by our full legal name and address:
