Honour 2008 was a great success. Friends and collegues of both Bruce and Peter delivered moving tributes to the two men, whose acceptance speeches underscored the industry, dignity and compassion which have been hallmarks of their many years of service to the GLBT community. The 170 people who attended helped raise almost $25,000 through a combination of ticket sales and a silent auction.

As well as all the people who attended the evening, we thank our event sponsors Foxtel, the Oxford Hotel, Scotchman's Hill and Amstel as well as all the businesses and organisations who donated items for the silent auction. It was a wonderful night enjoyed by all who attended and we now look forward to making next year's event even more successful.
