Newly Diagnosed With HIV
Find the help you need
If you've just found out you’re HIV positive, ACON offers a range of information and services to help you make sense of your diagnosis and find the support you need.
If you want to talk through your treatment options, we can help you work through the available information and make a decision that's right for you.
We also provide support, referral information and groups where you can meet and learn from other gay men in the same situation.
We can also offer up-to-date information, support and referrals for women and families affected by HIV/AIDS .
Counselling
If you want to talk things through, we offer a new diagnosis priority service which gives you access to a trained counselor within one working day.
Knowledge centre
We have a range of printed information about different aspects of living with HIV, from treatments to healthly living and sexuality.
