Treatment Basics

Tests and Treatments
This booklet describes the medications used in the treatment of HIV. It also explains some of the blood tests used to monitor the immune system, and how people with HIV can use this information to understand their health and make informed decisions about their HIV treatment.
This booklet is written for anyone living with HIV who may be considering starting or changing treatment, and others who might like to review current information.
