Peer Support For Women + Families
Through our Women’s and Families Affected by HIV Project, we provide a supportive environment for HIV+ women and their supporters, family members, carers and friends.
ACON is committed to cultural diversity and is sensitive to the needs of all people, welcoming individuals and families from many different nations and cultures, and we seek to reduce the social isolation that many positive people, especially women, experience.
Our aim is to provide a safe and confidential environment for women to come together for emotional support and build social networks with other positive women, while developing a sense of empowerment and a broader awareness of different aspects of living with HIV.
