The Pink LACE Project (Lesbian Affected By Cancer Explored)

The Pink LACE Project (Lesbians Affected by Cancer Explored) aims to reduce the impact of cancer on lesbians and same sex attracted women (SSAW) in the Northern Rivers region of NSW by improving links between support networks and access to support for the target group. This target group is significantly under-resourced and serviced. Through this project, it is hoped to identify barriers and propose appropriate implementations to increase effectiveness, availability and accessibility of cancer-related support services to lesbians and SSAW affected by cancer.
I would like to invite lesbians and same sex attracted women who are eighteen years of age or older and live in the Northern Rivers region to participate in this project. You will be required to complete an online survey that focuses on your experience when accessing services and support networks in regards to cancer. Hard copies are also available from ACON Northern Rivers office or participating Cafes where LOTL is distributed (free-post envelope attached). It will take about 10 minutes and any information you provided will be completely confidential and anonymous.
