02/09/10 - ACON's famous ball-dropping fundraiser Bingay is heading back home to the famous and newly renovated Imperial Hotel in Erskineville. Bingay began at the Imperial in 1999 but moved to Enmore's Sly Fox Hotel for three years while the Imperial was closed for refurbishment.

The University of New South Wales and St. Vincent's Hospital are conducting a study to better understand whether HIV infection may cause increase risk for developing memory and attentional difficulties in middle-aged persons. To better understand this issue HIV-negative volunteers are needed.

Last week NAPWA raised concerns related to a recent advertising campaign initiated by Gilead Australia, running in print and radio media. Through discussion Gilead have agreed to consult more widely on future patient based initiatives, and end the current advertising campaign earlier than planned.
