Know what’s out there

Research shows that young same-sex attracted people use alcohol and other drugs at least at the same rate, and often at higher rates than their heterosexual counterparts . If you don’t use these substances yourself, it’s still important that you know what’s out there in case some of your friends are using them, or in case you come across people who may need assistance.
