PARTICIPATE: LGBTI Gambling Study

If you're lesbian, gay, bisexual, intersex or trans, and have gambled before (eg. lottery, scratch cardcs, horse and dog race bets, sports bets, slot machines etc), then take this confidential 30 minute Gambling Study survey. This study by the University of Western Sydney (UWS) investigates how gambling behaviour links with other factors in affecting the health of our community.

LGBTI Communities Urged To Stand Up Against Domestic Violence

A new education campaign is encouraging people connected to the LGBTI* community to take a stand against domestic and family violence (DFV). Produced by ACON, NSW's leading HIV and LGBTI health organisation, the Stand Up Against Domestic Violence campaign is an initiative to inform, support and empower LGBTI people to act when they see the signs of domestic violence among their friends and in their community.

2013 HIV data shows promising start to Ending HIV

ACON has welcomed newly released data which shows a reduction in HIV notifications in NSW during 2013, but says the information needs to be interpreted cautiously as efforts continue to end HIV transmission in the state by 2020.
