10/05/2012 - NSW Minister for Health and Medical Research Jillian Skinner will be the guest speaker at Sydney’s annual remembrance event for people lost to HIV/AIDS. The 2012 Sydney Candlelight Memorial will take place on the International Candlelight Memorial Day which this year takes place on Sunday 20 May.

10/05/2012 The Northern Rivers annual remembrance event for people lost to HIV/AIDS will take place this year in May to coincide with similar international events.
The 2012 Northern Rivers Candlelight Memorial will take place on Friday 25 May and will be held in the Cedar Room at the Lismore Neighbourhood Centre on Carrington St in Lismore. The hour-long ceremony will begin at 6pm.

10/05/2012 - People in Sydney, Newcastle, Wollongong and Lismore can help fight discrimination against members of the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender (GLBT) community next week by getting involved in activities for the annual International Day Against Homophobia and Transphobia (IDAHO) on May 17.
