HERE.org.au is ACON’s digital hub for information on suicide and situational distress, connecting people of diverse gender and sexuality, their loved ones, and service providers in NSW to care, support, and resources.

HERE.org.au includes links to services and contact options for 24/7 crisis care, mental health and support services. Practical information and resources for our communities is offered to better understand and talk about suicide, how to stay safe and find care options and how to take care of somebody else that is experiencing thoughts and feelings of suicide.

Shown below, new videos have now been released to promote HERE.com.au’s resources and share stories of people with lived experience of suicide.

Kai’s Story

Kai (he/they) shares their insights into self-care and how they find ways of coping. They don’t need to be told about silver linings – they need someone to see them sitting in the storm and acknowledge their pain is real.

Keith’s Story

Keith (he/him) is a proud Barkindji and Malyangapa man who created meaning for his life through poetry and found family in mutual aid and abolitionist spaces. He shares Indigenous approaches to community care, connection, and deep listening.
